Boil Water Notice Lifted

On Saturday, Sept. 30, Durham Irrigation District notified customers of the need to boil/disinfect all tap water used for drinking and cooking purposes. 

On October 3, 2023 Durham Irrigation District, in conjunction with the State Water Resources Control Board and Butte County Public Health, has determined that, through abatement of the health hazard and comprehensive testing of the water, the water is safe to drink. Test results are available upon request.

It is no longer necessary to boil tap water.
